Purpose
As Regional Rewards Manager EMEA, you will play a key role in shaping and executing the compensation and benefits strategy across multiple EMEA countries. You will act as a strategic advisor to leadership, HR, and stakeholders, ensuring competitive and compliant total rewards programs. Your expertise will contribute to data-driven decision-making, retention strategies, and market benchmarking. The role is part of the Global Reward team and the Center of Expertise (CoE).
This role is highly strategic and advisory, not an operational HR role focused on payroll administration. The ideal candidate will preferably have worked in a consulting or advisory capacity and be comfortable working with diverse compensation challenges across EMEA.
Essential Functions
- The role will support multiple EMEA countries, with particular emphasis on:
- Belgium, South Africa, Germany, UK, the Nordics (Spain, France, Malta, and Finland are lower priority markets.)
- Lead and coordinate the annual salary and bonus review process for EMEA.
- Provide expert advisory support on compensation, benefits, and salary benchmarking to HR, leadership, and regional teams.
- Analyze market trends and benchmarking data from global providers to optimize salary structures.
- Ensure compliance with EU pay transparency regulations and country-specific compensation laws.
- Support and contribute to expatriate management
- Act as a sparring partner for HR teams and leaders regarding retention strategies and compensation-related decision-making.
- Work closely with the finance and systems teams to improve payroll and benefit structures across EMEA.
- Drive efficiency in total rewards processes through data analysis, dashboards, and forecasting.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to provide insights and recommendations on reward strategies.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Extensive experience in compensation and benefits, ideally across multiple EMEA countries.
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to interpret salary benchmarks, trends, and forecasts.
- A commercial and business-oriented approach, understanding how total rewards impact company performance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and advise senior leaders.
- Preferably some experience with Global Mobility and Expatriate management
- In-depth knowledge of regional compensation regulations and compliance requirements.
- Comfortable working under high-pressure periods, particularly during salary and bonus review cycles.
- Proven ability to operate in a multi-national organization and manage complex compensation structures.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in total rewards, preferably with a background in advisory or consulting roles focused on compensation and benefits strategy.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience working with compensation and HR data systems, with the ability to analyze and optimize salary structures across multiple markets.
- Fluency in English (additional European languages are a plus).
